    Compression Ratio Ideas

Alright, so Currently im building a 383 stroker, 3.750" Stroke, Forged Eagle Crank, 5.75" eagle rods, and MAYBE wiseco pistons, or JE

any comments about Wiseco or JE?

anyways, the lowest compression I can find is 9.5-1 with my 76CC heads.

I want to have them make me custom pistons that'll be around 8-1 or 8.5-1 because im gonna be using Nitrous prolly a 125-175 shot? i havent decided yet, but my blocks at my machinest right now.

getting Line Honed (with ARP studs of course), bored out .040 over, hot tanked, Decked ETC.

so Anyone with Idea's with my Compression? nitrous wont raise my compression Ratio, but it WILL raise my Compression, Hence WHy i want to go with Lower compression.

btw im not a n00b (or a noob to nitrous). just new to this site

btw the engines going on a Frame off Resto'd 64 el Camino

    I think you mean a 5.7 rod.
You don't need custom pistons JE/SRP has off the shelf pistons with that comp. ratio.
If you go with the lower comp. ratio you have less off a chance of detention.
Yes nitrous will cause increased cylinder pressure.
