    350 - 454 swap

How tough is it to swap a 454 into a stock 2000 350 4WD full size pickup? Are the auto trannies the same for both BB and SB chevies?. Do the electronic connectors interchange?

    Few points

Engine mounts are different, trans should match up, but it really depends on which trans it is. If it is a 4L60E you'll have maybe 10k miles before the trans dies. Electronic connectors should be similar, but the computer will have to be reprogrammed. It might be better to replace engine trans and computer all together if possible.

    thanks, Tommy.

I figured it would probably be easier- and cheaper - to sell my current pickup and buy a big block one.

I'm pulling that 350's guts out!
