Cam question for EFI
Hi new to the forum.. I have a question about cams or to be more detailed what kind of cam to get. Now for the specs I have a 350 that has a bad cam and needs replacing I plan on putting an Edelbrock EFI on the engine in the near future for reliabilty and such. But I will be doing the cam first along with all the other parts that go with a cam change just would like to know if the cam will handle being on a carb for a few months till I get the EFI system and maybe a suggestion on what cam to get. Edelbrock does say it needs 10 inchs of vac or at least 112 degrees of seperation all this cam stuff confuses me but reading everything I can about it trying to learn it !!!!
Thanks all

Well from what I have read they have not really given a cam to use with it they just say that you will have to give them your cam profile so they can send the right chip for the computer because there are so many profiles to choose from I guess cams are where I get lost but working on learning them

Well just want a daily driver well it is for the wife hence the EFI nothing special just want to make sure it will work with Carb and EFI if there is that middle ground. Also this is for a 85 4x4 Suburban just looking for a cam suggestion to work with the carb and EFI no monster build YET!!!
just daily stuff ...
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
