    Question need help with numbers

     



    I have what I beleive is a 1968 327ci chevy from what I have found on mortec, I would like to know how I find out what vehicle this is out of?
    casting number=3914678, date code=e168 suffix code=v0603hn, also stamped in front of the suffix code is 18f230368.

    You sure it's a 327? My book shows HN as a '69 350 out of a Big Chev or vette.....

    That block was used as a 302 (hardly ever ever ever). A 327 and 350. Good nickel block worth putting splayed caps on the main web. In stock form, not much to sneeze at, but strong builder if done right. 2 bolt from factory.
    What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?
