You should get the right ones. Adding spacer plates and modifying the setup is such a hassle. Please get the right ones if you run the D ports.Last edited by nitrowarrior; 06-20-2007 at 05:52 PM.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

I had Fastburn D port heads on my old 406. They worked ok with Hooker 1 3/4" headers. Another buddy is using the same headers on his 406 with AFR 195 heads.

Acturally you are better off withg round header on the D Port Heads, Because the round header on the D port will create anti Exhaust reverision. That Mean the Exhaust gas will not go back in to the Cyl.

the guy who did the heads when my dad still had the car ovaled the exhaust ports out like a putz, the guy who just did my heads is friends with mondello from WAYY back and told me that the heads are pretty damn worthless seeing as he ovaled the exhaust port out and cut the port floor out of the exhaust. he said NEVER oval them out and cut the floor. he told me he would of enlarged the exhaust yes but, without cutting the port floor out <notice they make raised runner heads> and make them d port. he also said that with it being ovaled with no floor there is barley any scavenging effect on the exhaust.
