Will a piston stop work w/ angle plug heads???
.....Hi Everyone, just wondering, will a piston stop work with angle plug heads??? I want to check my TDC but it seems as if the stop might not be going in at the correct angle with angle plug heads.... THANKS, Bill

....Thanks Denny . I was just thinking that since the piston stop goes in at an angle it might stop the piston from moving up before TDC..... Bill

....Ah ha! so then it really doesn't matter if the piston is really at the top of the cylinder or 1/2" down in the cylinder because you split the difference on the harmonic balancer {aka; crank pulley dampener, torsional dampener, vibration dampener}. THANKS AGAIN Denny, I sure hope I don't have to remember all 4 names for the final exam! Bill
ps, actually I already have a mark on the balancer from the engine builder but I'm just double checking &/or making sure the balancer hasn't moved. Someone in another thread mentioned the balancer moving? or spinning? something like that.....
