Roller Cam Question
I have noticed that rollers seem to all carry larger numbers, dur. & lift, that flat taps. If in my instance I have picked CompCam 280H flat tap, what would an equivilent set of numbers for a roller cam be? Thanks."oohh...thats gonna leave a mark!"

Is there really an increase in freed up horsepwer using the 286HR vs. the 280H? This is due to efficiency and less friction more or less???"oohh...thats gonna leave a mark!"

The roller cam cam use a much more agressive lobe design and get the valves opened quicker and closed quicker for more area under curve. Trying to do the same lobe with a flat tappet might have the lifter edge digging into the cam lobe.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
