windage tray.
I have never installed a pre-made one. I have made mine for most of my engines. It helps to have the engine on a stand and upside-down. To seal it, I use GOOD black silicone applied sparingly. Depends
It pretty much depends on the engine and the design of the windage tray. Some such as a 72 LT1 Corvette motor I have use special main cap bolts that are extended and threaded on the ends to hold the windage tray in place. My FE Ford uses a tray that sandwiches between the pan and the block.
