    getting heads-intake?

Well, I'm about to order my heads but have a quick ? about recalling something I heard about DART iron eagle sbc heads having problems matching up to a Holley 300-36 dual plane intake? Anybody got this type of set-up and have any problems with it? If not then the heads will be on there way monday. Thanks for any input.

Only thing I've seen with the Dart's is that it takes a bit of gasket matching on the ports. No big deal, probably should be done with any aftermarket heads anyway... Lot's of the roundy roundy guys running the Dart's, sure haven't heard of any major problems, these guys really like them from the power vs. price aspect, anyway. Should be a great setup for the street IMO.

    Thanks for answering, Dave.
If my biggest issue ends up being the gasket- port matching I will be a happy camper! Guess it's time to make some phone calls.

Well, I would say about 15 of the top 20 cars here locally on the dirt are running the Dart's... I picked up a used set from one of them last winter and put them on a buddy's sbc in a '70 chebbie pickup.... Result was an increase in horsepower that you could tell without using a dyno! I would say an easy 20 to 25 horse better then the stockers he had on it. Engine is one of the cheap crate motors from Chevy. Heads made a HUGE improvement!

I think you will be very pleased with your purchase! The Dart's should really wake up the engine and give it some very respectable performance.
