fuel pressure regulator
Quick one hope you guys can help... I recently purchased a fuel pressure regulator to suit a carburetted SBC, The item that arrived is one with a boost reference port on it... Am i still able to use this item considering the motor has no forced induction or do i have to purchase a normal model?

I think I'd just plug the port to keep dirt out of it and run it. It doesn't know if your motor is just naturally aspirated or blown with no boost at the moment. Anyway, that's my opinion. Send it back if it's gonna worry you.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Hey Denny
Here are instructions from Mallory concerning using a boost-reference port on a naturally-aspirated application. Read the last line in the third paragraph. Looks like it is plugged at the factory. Of course, they may not know what they're doing.
