350 m/m hole crack
have a chance to buy a '71 350 complete motor only thing is owner sayes chip or crack on one of the motor mt. bolt holes. he may send a picture soon as it is over an hour away and I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before and if it is infact a crack can i fix it. the motor was rebulit 3k mis. ago and is out sitting scinse dec.
any response greatly appreciated

yes just did one 350 chevy needed 3 spots welded trans bell in two spots were i look like some one put ot long of a bolt in and in the front were looks like it was drop or was in a car that had been hit hard in the front. yes it can be fix easy as long as it did not go thru the water jacket. i use 700 arc rod made by weld mold it drills in taps very niceIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
