exhaust pressure difference
I have a 283 with straight dual exhaust.
The motor sounds and runs fine.
But I have noticed the passenger side exhaust has some 'suck back'.
The driver's side doesn't.
What causes that???There is no limit to what a man can do . . . if he doesn't mind who gets the credit. (Ronald Reagan)

Used to be a old car buyers trick ,was to take a shop rag and hold it over the exaust ,if the rag gets sucked up the exaust and spit back out ,the valves are bad or out of adjustment. Most 0f the time its a burnt valve.
Dual exaust makes it more easily determined which side has the bad or mis adjusted valve. Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Or maybe you just need to fire the rythm section on that bank. After all, if the group can't hang together, it needs some tweaking!....HHHmmmmmmSeriously, go with the good advice above.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?
Great to see your new post, Mike, and great to see CHR up and running again after several days of the Hmmm, can't reach this page.... Also good that you found an easy solution to your storage/access...
