no adders, had a strip dominator and a 750 holley dpl pumper. #291 heads were mildly ported had hardened seats. after i spun a main bearing a chewed a valve shim in may "07" i rebuilt it had the heads ported some more and had2.02 1.6 valves put in. and some other stuff. really curious to see how it'll runt his time out.Last edited by gassersrule_196; 01-18-2008 at 04:50 AM.

I guess i,ll add my limited knowledge to this but yes you can build a 283 or 327 that will scream. In the 60s and 70s we did a lot of street racing (mostly because we were broke from buying parts and the strip was only open on the weekends.) We had some cars that we thought were fast at the time but i can,t remember what times they turned at the strip. Seminole build it the way you want it and don,t worry about what others think (DARE TO BE DIFFERENT.) Hey keep us posted on your progress.I just wonder what happened to GOVERNMENT of the people by the people for the people?
Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
