    intake for use w/Brodix IK

Considering Brodix IK 200cc heads for 383. Looking for opinions on what intake matches up. Have heard Brodix has large port size which limits intake choices. Brodix recommends Felpro 1206 gasket. Anyone have any info on this issue?

i would say the brodix intake is made to match thier brodix heads best. i know my dragster liked them.

Well ya, if its in the budget go Brodix. I wonder if anyone has done dyno test with Brodix heads and Edelbrock intake . Then same set up with Brodix intake. Is the Brodix intake really worth the extra cost?

im not sure about comparrisons, but i guarantee that brodix designed the heads to work with thier own intake, not another brand. the brodix intake would not be that much more in price than a victor, about 50 bucks. and is the brodix intake really worth the extra money, id say yes matching it with the brodix heads it would be. they are together a proven combo through research and development. now if i bought edelbrock heads i would use edelbrock intake with them also, same reason.

I would also guarantee Brodix designed the heads and intake to work together....

Brodix would be best if its in the budget. Which ever you get be sure to pay close attention to what you are buying. High performance heads can move the ports around for better flow. Aftermarket intake makers have intakes for the various port configurations.
