Ls1 With A Carb ?
Any one ever try out a carb set up on the LS1 GEN III SB Chevy . I like it I am not a EFI fan . If you have any more info on this conversion post it to this thread . Thanks

We just did a Dart headed ls1 for a guy with 74 camaro---he's just abougt ready to run it as soon as he gets his clutch master cyl worked out--and maybe a little warmer weather==I think it will work super and be a slick looking set up if he moves the coils--they are ugly-no wonder all the corvette guys buy those carbon fibre engine covers

Here's one I found at Good Guys Indy in '06, I'm a FI fan don't know why anyone would want to do this. LS motors look different than the typical smallblock. Can't make them look better with a carb. And the FI is superior to carb setup.

I agree, the EFI setup that a Stock LS1 comes with is far better than any carburator, and it costs less to stay EFI than it does to convert to carb. the ignition controller is expensive, then add the manifold onto that along with a $400 carb.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
