One thing to remember is that cheaper is not really better. Cheaper in price means you are paying cheaper in quality. You can find the cheapest "damper" but dont be mad when the thing flys off at idle or above.
Friends dont let friends drive fords!

This is why I passed on the import OEM type . But they do have many . And they have a 6" Claimer Balancer $42.99 . You can find good budget parts . Some Times you get a junk part . But when guys here tell each other about good part deals . That is always a very good thing .I also look for good used high end parts for budget builds . Two of my SB Chevys will be built with good budget parts . I have a 406 that will get the high dollar stuff .

I have some of the SBC factory MALL dampners that are degreeed 360 and hane the 3 bolts that retain the ring--used them on the Indy stock block cars back then 1980s-

    Tango

They are 8 inch internal balance units--360 degreed--there are three bolts installed thru the outer ring into slots machined in the hub to retain the ring-the slots allow the ring to work to dampen the harmonics but retain it from forward/rearward movement---
