Professional Products offers a 8" Balancer. Might be able to get a lower price than from Star Perfomance.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to say this, but techinspector, cool to see you back.

What about a GM Performance Parts balancer? I run one on a 355 I built 15 years ago that still runs pretty good. You can get one at a Chevy dealer that sells performance parts. I see you are from Chicago. Lattof Chevy in Arlington Heights is a performance parts dealer or you can go online to find another one. Jim Pace does a big online business.

Did you order a balancer too? I may order a cam for my 305 if the lobes or valve train looks messed up. For lifters and cam, thats not a bad deal. RADICAL

I wanted the #70002 8" Star street damper for $36.99 . It's made out of Nodular Iron and safe to 6500 RPM . The add said Limited Quantities . They had none . They did have the OEM Replacement Type #6511 for $40.99 . Check out page #24 Star Performance I passed on it . I may go with the Pioneer Brand . But I did also need rockers And the Camshaft well I just had to
