Martinsville is a 1/2 mile paved? hhhmmm....makes a guy think. Our local dirt 1/2 milers are holding 15.235 and 15.255 respectively for their records and plain janers runs real close to that even in the 360 classes. Not saying sprinters are the same class but they have no budget either.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

According to my calcultaions, 13.2 secs on a half mile track is a 136.36 mph average.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well a half mile track in 13.2 secs is a lap average speed of 136.... Cornering speeds of about 100, with straightaway speeds about 150??????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
