Martinsville is a 1/2 mile paved? hhhmmm....makes a guy think. Our local dirt 1/2 milers are holding 15.235 and 15.255 respectively for their records and plain janers runs real close to that even in the 360 classes. Not saying sprinters are the same class but they have no budget either.

According to my calcultaions, 13.2 secs on a half mile track is a 136.36 mph average.....

Well a half mile track in 13.2 secs is a lap average speed of 136.... Cornering speeds of about 100, with straightaway speeds about 150??????

What track is this????

Not a quiz.
The reason I asked is because I know that different tracks have different class's.
So can you please tell me what class it is??

Yes, they call them the road runner class, and beginner intermediate. That's the way they class them here. May be something else, somewhere else. They also have the sportsman class, and the big boys, but then, your talking all different there. Sealed motors, and computer tuned.

Man 13.2 Sound Like a street car build ! Must be one of them Budget Claimer engines with the 305 heads .

And I want to know what track it is that has 9.1 CR two barrell engines running 13.2 lap times on a 1/2 mile track!!!!!!
