piston slap
i have a 350 chevy bored 60 over , the piston skirts show some ware but no scratches, does this mean the block is junk, or is it possable to re ring it and use it,it was smoking slightly when i tore it down

if a bit loose you can knurl the pistons and use a file fit ringIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

yes you would want to check that and hone the walls square then do what i said or just start over with a better block and pistons they make 080 over cast pistons but i would not use them in a new 350 block and not to sure on a old 350Last edited by pat mccarthy; 05-05-2008 at 07:22 PM.
