Edlebrock aluminum heads from Auto Zone?

Iv'e heard not to trust A.Z. but the heads are $650.00. Is it a bad idea?

Get rich or dye trying!(The latter becoming increasingly emminent at this juncture to my dismay. )

Sure is a bad idea when Summit's price is $549 to $569 for both the Performer and some of the Performer RPM's.

No - I don't trust Auto Zone/Advance either and totally dislike the "help" at the local store. Buy your seat covers and polish there - hard performance parts - Summit, Jegs or Speedway

The Edelbrock intake/control module I'm looking at is $700 from Summit or Jegs but $825 from AZone, Advance, and $900 from ORiely's. You have to really watch their prices.

I buy my windshield wipers from Autozone because Wal Mart never has a good supply. All serious hardware comes from Summit or Jegs. Always check them first before I buy anything.

I hate to say it, but with cylinder heads. You are going to get what you pay for, and shelling out extra money for AFR'S Edelbrocks, Brodix heads is probably the best money you can spend on a good proven set of heads..

As stated above, your best bet is Jegs, Summit, or Speedway. I buy nothing from Advance, Autozone, or O'reilly's, except oil,and cleaners. All serious parts I get from catalog or Napa.....just my 2 cents!
    I ain't dumb, I just ain't been showed a whole lot!

They haven't gotten that far East yet so we are stuck with AZ/Advance (same company as far as I can see)

They're fully assembled aluminum 64cc 202 1.6's and I don't like the "HELP" (funny) there either but that guy gave me an Edlebrock (big-ass) catalog so I thought I was ordering from them. Hell I thought I looked everywhere but I better look a little more. Maybe I don't look so good?

P.S Thanks for thelink ICI didnt know they had 'em so cheap.I'm just gonna put 'em on a 305 so I can get the tranny kinda dialed in or well working first and then gear up the rear end. Thanks again.

Go out on a limb. Thats where the fruit is

I tried that one with an MSD box. They said it had to be a local parts suppliers advertised price that was in the vicinity within reasonable driving distance, no mail order or internet matching.
