    Unhappy 350 cutting out??????

hello i have a 1985 gmc 4x4 that has a crate motor in it.It ran fine and the starter went out so i put it in a demo car. I ran the car in one heat and the distributor cap broke so i was done. I put a new cap and rotor in it and it ran fine in the car so i put back in the truck. I drove the truck a few days with a little cutting out but now you drive it and it will die when u give it gas. It will idle fine but sounds like there is a air leak inside the carb.just wondering if anyone has had this problem. Thanks for the help.

First I would check the fuel filter. Then the ignition modual inside the cap.It is HEI corect?? You will just have to do this by elimination till you get it right GOOD LUCK

no fuel flow. You're only getting enough to idle.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
