I think a longblock will run better. Definately more compression.

falcon, Man I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes after reading that brief and to the point answer above. Isnt it remarkable what bolting on a set of heads to a short block does for compression. Too cool man Too cool!!

i like any thing i do not have to push and i am to old to run i use bbc for pushing and if i only have to run fastIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip

Yea Dave you can that is if your Chain is strong enough. Here's one we got loaded in the "Short to Long Block Strecther Fixture" just gettin ready to bolt up a Boss 302 short block and make a real motor out if it. Originally Posted by Dave Severson
