    Exclamation 350 ZZ4 Engine Build

I've got a 95 350 out of a 1500 chevy pickup. The block is a carryover of the GM ZZ4 Crate engine, of course without the aluminum heads, cam, crank etc. I got two Questions, first, approximately how much will it cost me to have the block reconditioned, Bored .30 over and inspected? Second, what heads would be optimal for performance using regular unleaded fuel? Gas prices are good now but i don't want to take any chances building an engine that runs on premium. I have been looking into double hump heads but I am unsure if they are compatible with my engine, a 95 Gen.1. I also have plans to make it into a 383 stroker any tips are welcome! BTW this engine will be going into a Camaro.
    Thanx ALOT!!!!

Scat cast steel crank and Scat capscrew I-beam 5.7" rods.
Keith Black KB121-030 pistons, gap top ring 0.027", second ring 0.018".
Bore block 0.030" and deck block for zero piston deck height @ 9.008" block deck height.
    Fel-Pro 1011-2 head gaskets.
Scour boneyards for a set of 12558062 casting heads from 96-2000 5700 Vortec motor. Get the rail rockers and valve covers also.
Disassemble heads, take to machine shop for magnaflux and to have 0.015" shaved from the decks to arrive at 62cc chambers and to correct any warpage. Have valve job done, reassemble with new seals. Max lift at valve will be 0.450".
Edelbrock Performer RPM Vortec intake with 750 vacuum-secondary carb.
1 3/4" long tube headers with 2 1/2" pipes to the rear, mufflers of your choice.
Cam of your choice, but close to this with valve lift limit of 450-something. The rail rockers will be something less than an ideal 1.5 ratio anyway, so you can fudge just a LITTLE BIT on the valve lift.
    Crane 100052....

12*-16* ignition lead at the crank, 32*-36* total all in by 2800. Connect vacuum can to manifold vacuum.
    SCR 8.94:1, DCR 7.993:1, squish 0.039".
Should run detonation-free on Mexican cat pi**.
    RPM HP TQ
    2000 151 396
    2500 189 398
    3000 240 420
    3500 292 439
    4000 338 444
    4500 369 430
    5000 381 400
