    Question Patriot Heads Problems..

I have a set of 190cc Patriot heads.. the valve spring are good for .570 lift.. im a little sceptical because I have heard issues of them dropping valves beacuse the springs just snap. Anyone got a set? If so any problems?

    Thanks
    Josh

If a spring just snaps its because the valve train is not set up right.

Or the springs are junk to begin with.....
Order the heads bare and buy your own parts that will be coordinated to work with your combination. Order cam, lifters, pushrods, rockers, springs, retainers, locks and seals from your favorite cam grinder as a package. I understand you already have the heads, I'm giving advice for others reading this. As for you, its up to you and whether you trust the springs or not. For the cost of springs, I'd be ordering them from my favorite grinder so they matched up with the cam I was going to use.
