I had one and couldn't wait to take it off, ok someone tell me why a gear drive is better for a street engine? IMO they are about as useful as a pair of fuzzy dice, a total waste of money on a street engine. They make a great paper weight but a rock is cheaper. My last word is this, I'm not a NASA scientist or pro engine builder like some of you guys, I'm just a regular guy that believes in practicality, and to me spending hundreds on a gear drive for the street, just for the noise is, well, impractical when they sell quality chains. Hey now wait a minute!!!! I get a brand new pair of color coordinated fuzzy dice for every car I build for myself!!!!!

Last Pete Jackson gear drive I bought was in '74.... It broke 2nd night out and went back to a chain and gears....

Fuzzy dice are cheap and don't break!!!!!

Speaking of falling apart...the dots fell off my fuzzy dice the second night they were hanging from the mirror. I don't know if it was the cars brutal accelleration or my girl friends actions while we were parked .

    Made in India.

My gear drive makes noise. That's what hotrods do. No chips in the oil so it must be holding up. Cam still works good even with the low DDP stuff. I just use the Comp EOS. Maybe that's why the gear drive still works too.
