    350 tbi problems

so i have a 1987 350 tbi i am running straight pipe out of stock manifolds the motor is completely stock except for a msd coil and wires
when its idling it dies off stutters and then runs fine repeat...then when i step on the gas it will stutter the pick up and do ok
it just doesnt make power and at high rpm it will stutter and die till it slows down i just want to get to the bottom of it...
the motor is completely rebuilt and everthing is new some sensors were reused...but the truck it came out of ran perfectly

sounds like it could be most anything I'd pull the fuel filter and check that may even be the fuel pump.there are somthings on these that even knowing the code dosen't help.

    Possible problems with temp sensors---

wrong type----two wire or single wire

Teflon tape on threads insulating it from ground

did you jump start/charger start your rig at one point? This in itself or a power spike could have taken out your ecm. you might consider dumping the oem ecm and going aftermarket like megasquirt or one of the high dollar ones.
