By my estimation you should have 297 hp at 5500 RPM, you should use the 2500 Stall converter as suggested by the cam people. To be really really sure, call the Cam manufacturer and ask their opinion. They have tech support people who are paid to konw the answer to such questions and provide them.

Glad ya liked it Streets.
It amazes me that people will ask these questions of less than perfect strangers, whose credentials they don't know, but won't take the time to email or call the manufacturers who have spent many hours and $$$ developing combinations that work.
Don't get me wrong, questions about how to fabricate things or troubleshoot something are great.

ok for one thing you dont know if i have a truck but i do . i am not a little kid i am 21 and i have a 78 chevy so dont tell me i dont. i have called the cam company and you sit on hold for like an hour till someone can help. ya i have changed my combo maney of times, most people do what is wrong with that? there is just tomany things to pick from so thats y ia ask what i ask. i am trying to build a street rod not piss people off. thanks for the hp number to is there any way that i could make more with this combo. it kinda sad that you have to get down on people trying to get info. i do look on the internet for combos that have the same heads i do or the same kind of truck but i never find any. most of the sites are bull anyway.
