sbc355 and 350t check these specs/tell me what you think?
this is a motor/tranny combo im considering for my engine swap in my buick. everything has a few hundred miles on it and is in a 87 monte ss so i can run it befor i buy it/trade for it. my trade is worth 3-3200$ let me know what ya think.
motor- 350 4bolt from a 93 suburban
machine work done @ engines plus machine shop in dracut ma. inc- degrease block, pressure test block, bore + hone .030 over, fit pistons, press pistons to rods, install cam bearings.
parts- new 350 crank + bearings
new flattop pistons + rings
new high flo oil pump
new isky race cam / .450 lift int. + exh. duration @ .050 234/234, lobe center 106 rpm range 2500-6800
heads off pre 86 305 w/small comustion chamber, ported and polished, 1.6/1 ratio rockers
new valves + seals ect....
keyed double roller timing set
hei mech. dist.
edelbrock 650 carb + performer intake
mech. hi-flo fuel pump
power steering pump + alt. inc.
tranny- prof. built complete from pump to clutches, race shift kit, 2500 stall inc.
desk top dyno is 352 hp @5500 rpm and peak torq is 396 @ 4000 rpm
what do ya think is it worth the 3000$ im thinking it is.
