Soon ill be looking to start building a tunnel ram motor for a buddy for his 33 gasser...
hes got a 350 sbc 1988 motor, but cannot seem to find any intakes listed for this age motor....

Hmmmm. Better wait for the sbc guys.... Not sure if you have the Vortec heads on that vintage or what, I'm a Ford guy. Just thought I could maybe get some responses going here to get you some accurate information.... Think I know the answer, but not sure and I don't want to be guilty of giving you incorrect info!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

if the heads have only 4 bolts a side then it is Vtech head. if has more then 4 per head like 6 on each side then a older intake is a bolt on .but the middle bolts are at a diffrent angle so you have to check if there room to open up them holes and make stand offs so they can be TQ up. if a Vtech head the ports are abit taller but the tunnle ram should seal up you would need to check that you could drill and tap the V tech and use a older intakes they did not come out with the Vtech heads in the late 90s? 1999 may have been the first year ? i know the 2000s where i have built some pricy to buildLast edited by pat mccarthy; 08-16-2009 at 09:27 AM.

Thats cool
there's 6 on each side according to mortec site cast number 14102183 reads this
14101083...87-up...350..........Gen.I, also used on crate motors, 285 or 300 hp, 64c chambers, 72' center manifold bolt angles..
does that mean the heads should fit the intake ?

Mike I wouldnt exclude the earlier ones availble. "hoggingging out" the holes is pretty common, but like said earlier , its a matter of having enough meat to do so.
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
