    chevy pontiac

     



    i was wondering if any body could help me i have a 400 pontiac and also a chevy 350 4 boilt the pontiac is not the original motor from the car it ended up being 74 to 79 400 pontiac and the 350 is a 1986 truck motor if anybody could help which motor do you think would be better to go with for horspower and performance thanks.

    I perfer pontaic aover the chevy. The chevy would be less expensive to build and could have chheper HP. I feel the pontaic is a stronger motor from the start. The Transmissions have different bolt paterns so you want to watch that. the chevy has a different pattern than the BOP/C. Here is why I prefer the Pontiac...

    I would stick with the Poncho, but it's your car...

    Like Larissa said you could build the Chevy cheaper, but seems like Chevy's are getting so commonplace.

    thanks everybody for your help on the chevy pontiac motor still not sure becuse i would like to use 700r4 with the 400 with out getting into too much money with adapter plates to boilt chevy tranny to pontiac.
