You've essentially reduced it to a 2 bolt main.

put a longer stud in the outer hole i would then make a 5/16to3/8 tab out of cold roll steel should work ok with a 7/16 hole in it that covers the hole top of were its busted up to the end of spot face to the 90. i may mill abit more of a step out if it is there to take... to put more holding and clamping load more on the main part of the cap not the outer part . then tack weld the cap on the sides of the cap only... tig weld with missle tig rod. warm cap first to 400 then tig.a lite file to check the leg of the cap so its not hi ....Done EZ FIX

5 caps Pat but I had to find some outter bolts---

I agree on the stud or even possibly cutting the top flat and then making a strap that goes across all four holes with spacers down to the outers--even the two centers and the broken side

yep me to.. i set the rottler up on a bore . deck a block . hone a set of rods out at the same time or valve work grinder /seat machine when set up on a cut. the mill i run the feed very slow on the mill so it just crawls a long.the boring bar is a set it and for get it i never run it in hi speed i tried the carbide they stay will run good in hi speed its a so/so finsh so i run it in low it will peel or 025 to 055 of a cut just as nice with the one edge oe cutters i use the replacement carbide cutter with holder on sleeve facing. i stay around the bar on the start of a cut and walk away from it. less i am cutting a sleeve out .i can only run 3 machines at the same time but not allways that busy. if i doing a valve job or rods. block honing . i try to set up a machine on a cut bore or deck a block
