Need help picking out a radiator prefer a off the shelf one SBC 2bbl Which Radiator?
My hot rod really needs a new radiator. It has a custom built one and it needs to be replaced but I was hoping to find one that is capable of cooling it off the shelf vs custom ordering one because I am running a pretty stock 350. I have a 350 with a 2bbl carb and fan off the waterpump that is clutchless. Very mild engine and I do use A/C.
My core dimensions are 28 x 16 x 2. I do have wiggle room in all directions. I want to stay with a copper/brass.
Do you guys think a radiator for a 454 or 455 Trans Am will cool my 350 ok?
Here is what I found. 454 Chevelle rad. 28.5 x 17 x 2 5/8
Trans Am 455 27.5 x 17 x 2 5/8
What do you guys think? Is there any larger stock radiators that you can think of?
Thanks.
