    sorry.. gotta bug ya'll again!

well first off 355 engine 97 block 9 to 1 comp. mild cam. 600 cfm edelbrock carb electric choke. 700 R4 tranny 373 gears. its in an 88 truck. short bed single cab little truck. heres the problem... im right at 4 psi fuel pressure all the time as i have an elelctric pump with a regulator in the line. it feels like it pulls harder at 1/4 throttle than at full.. full throttle it seems like it just makes more noise?! haha initial start up goes like this fires up and once it starts i pump the gas a couple times and black smoke comes out the rear. and it runs sluggish until i really get it warmed up. bogs right at first then picks up good. but then whens its warm it has almost no bog and then has no pull?? also my gas mileage is horrible. 8mpg :/ also im at almost at 4,500 feet. im thinking i need to lean it out?? any help would be awesome!!!!! thank ya guys for all the help you've already given me!

Sounds like it's fat, what do the plugs show???? If you have access to an air fuel ratio meter or a gas analyzer it would be easier to tune!!!!! Got any friends working in a shop?
