engine wont start!! HELP!!
mild 350 heres whats up. we did a cam swap put it back together did the break in of the cam, started it the next day pulled it out shut it off, and now it wont start, we have advanced it, retarted it, checked fuel pressure 5psi, float level, changed power valve, tried another carb, hei plug tester(we r getting spark), it wont even hicup with starting fluid. we r doing new plugs today. does anyone know can a module in the distr work but not properly???(as most electric devices either work or they dont) any ideas would be greartly appreciated! thanks guys!!

rotor button .. always was my first fix when i mechanicked a hunnert years ago ..

is your distributor 180 out? i've made that mistake so many times...

If starting fluid doesn't even get it to try to start your problem is probably electrical (ignition). Either pull a plug wire off and insert a phillips screwdriver into the plug socket and hold it near the engine block while someone cranks it (HOLD THE INSULATED PART OF THE SCREWDRIVER OR YOU WILL GET KNOCKED ON YOUR CAN) or buy one of the $ 5 spark plug testers that light up when that plug fires to let you know you are getting spark.
If it ran ok during breakin something changed. Start with the basics. Also, look at the plugs to make sure you aren't flooding.
