Thanks for your reply. I dont know the duration of that cam, but i will try and get in touch with the guy i bought it from and see if he can give me more details. What if I just put a set of stock heads on there with a 4 barrell intake and carb? Here is a little info i found by looking up the part # on the piston....the part # is L2304. (There's not much info on the web about these pistons, except that they are a good, forged piston and have a .100" dome.
If you figure that the dome is worth 7-10cc (negative when you figure the CR), with a .039" gasket your CR will be approximately:
10.25-10.5 with 72cc heads
11.25-11.5 with 64cc heads
350ci Performance Piston, .000'' Overbore
Piston Dia.: 4.000''
Piston Top: 2.4cc Dome
Press Pin
Comp Ratio: 11.26:1 w/58cc Head, 9.19:1 w/76cc Head
Ring Grooves: 5/64'', 5/64'', 3/16''
Also I didnt mention that the block is bored out to .060 over, im sure that will make a difference too. How can I configure deck height and compression height?Last edited by pbigsby; 07-13-2010 at 05:17 AM.
