    heads number matching

     



    ok.. i bought a motor thinking it was a 327.couldent really read the numbers off block but once i pulled the head i found the numbers 14014416. so i looked em up n found out they are off 3rd gen camaro 305ho.. is their any way these are original 327heads? or are those numbers just 305 heads? thanks for the help brandon

    Nope, no way those heads were original on a 327...just a 305 head.

    The head is from a 305 HO motor. The combustion chambers are smaller, 58cc, has 1.84I/ l.5 E valves and has 7 exhaust holes. These heads were produced 80-85. Good 305 heads - not so good 327 heads..
