    Blower Engine Kit

    Hi All,

im down in New Zealand and am looking for an engine kit for one of my projects, a Fiat Topolino. Its a fibreglass body with a full roof and with doors, as we did the mold off my wifes steel bodied one

Im plannng to build a streetable SBC and blower with a T350. Its for a street car that may see a couple of runs down the quarter from time to time.

I have a street legal T bucket with a blown 540 cube BBC for when I want to go fast. (Number plate on that is AA/FA)

So I have a 4 bolt mains 350 block and a brand new never had fuel thru it B&M 420 megablower and intercooler.

    Im using that blower because
    1) I have it in my shed and
    2) it will look the part hanging thru the hood

I figure I need a forged crank (383?) and some six inch H beam rods and some good forged pistons, some 72cc TFR or Brodix heads and a comp ratio around 7.5:1

Our fuel down here is 95 or 98 octane. With the intercooler I should avoid pinking.

Does anyone sell a kit (Lunati?) with the basic good stuff I need? I realise it wont be a cheap purchase, but I would rather do it once and do it right.

    Thanks
    Todd

Try Competition Products... Lots of choices and the good stuff with Howards Rods and Cranks. Here's a link for you, not a blower combo but they're on the site, too.

Thanks guys, will follow them up.

Theres a small chance that I may be up in California on business in the middle of next month, so may get to the Nostalgia drags while Im there, & may be able to bring my own parts home.

well i have used howards stuff it is ok i really do not want to say much on here what i think about thereI beam bbc rods there cranks are ok but seeing how Callies machines them for Howards why not just buy one form them there comp star line would hold up ok BUT you should think about using a BBC snout on the sbc crank to drive the blower .i built the 383 with the 5.7 H scat beam rod used a scat steel 4340 crank . JE shelf piston custom ERSONs roller cam and brodix heads for a ANGLiA i built for a guy. or just stop in to CROWER and buy every thing from them when your in the states there rods and cranks are some of the best you can buy
