Small block top end rebuild
So this winter im ripping the motor out of my fiero and going to start to rebuild the top end. When i got the motor built i went with a scat forged stock rotating assembly. but funds were dry and i used 882 heads. Left the mild cam in .442 .442 ex int cam with 216 dur with 112 ls. I went with a 570 street avenger with a edelbrock performer EPS. I was thinking of going a isky cam .510 .510 with 234 dur with 106 ls weiand stealth airstrike intake.super anti pump isky hydraulic lifters. With powerjection iii TBI. Crane 1.6 roller rockers with hardened stock size pushrods. Cloyes billet dual roller chain with 2 and 4 degree advance. And im not sure what heads i should go with there are so many different heads. I was looking at 64CC 180-190intake heads with a 202 160 valve. i was aiming at about 400-450 mark. Help me! is this a good build or what other options do you have. My motor is a 4bolt 80-85 truck motor, 3.61 gear ratio car weighs 2500lbs with the 350 in it with all fluids. Biggest thing is i dont wanna touch the bottom end, Since its only has 8k on the bottom end and all forged i thought only top end is intended. And this is going to be a street car. Thanks alot.
