I use the 2 liter 8 soda pop per plastic crate you see in the stores as a organizer.
I label the side of it to represent one side of 2-4-6-8 and the other 1-3-5-7 which is each cylinder of the engine.I do the assembly of piston,piston pin,rings,rod,rod bearings as it would be for each cylinder ready to go in the engine.The hole size I have had 4.060 pistons in them and the piston/rings fit no problem.Because of them being plastic,there isn't a issue of the crate damaging the piston.Best part is if you ask for the crate at your local store,they give them to you for free and I hang them off the wall of my shop for easy storage.Good Bye

The first model car I built was a 32 Ford roadster by Revell in the mid 50's.
