    It's Alive!

Its been awhile but the new motor is in and running. Everything looks good after 45mins of break-in time.
    Great oil pressure.
180-190 water temp on each head.
It fired up first lick. adjusted timing and carb and it runs and sounds great.

Still have a few bugs to work out.
    1. Oil dip stick tube broke. Should have bought a new one. My Bad.
    2. Trans acting a little weird. Have post a ? over on the trans board
    3. No hot air comming out of vents.
    4. Running a little rich.....(Jets)
    5. Still have not gotten a air cleaner. Took the old one off for pics.

But all in all things are looking good and I should have these little problem taken care of in a few days.
But heres a few pics of waht I got so far.

It looks like a super clean job JBoss.
Just one thing jumped out and smacked me in the face.
The electrical tape on the alternator wire has to go.
You have a engine that could go on the front of any book and then there is the one thing that looks like it does not belong there. That's right the old electrical bandage.
HE! HE! HE! Looks good though. Kurt

Agree 100%. But its just a "stop gap" until I have the rest of the wiring worked out.
