krazy (sbc) serpentine belt question???????
I was wondering in how Long would my serpentine belt would Last
if I use the belt tensioner wheel, as a pulley?
I know the pulley doesnt have grooves, but ive seen it done."If it dosen't run, chrome it"

Why? you can buy a dead pulley from GM....the smooth tensioner is designed to run on the back side of the belt...as you probably already know.

That's shown on your water pump, right? My concern would be the loss of driving friction - the mating grooves give about 2x or more surface area, and with a smooth tensioner type pulley you're going to be using about 1/10th of the belt surface, just riding the tips of the grooves on the smooth pulley. I would find a grooved pulley.Roger

you can find the A/C delete pulleys in the GMPP catalog...the bracket may
not fit a cuss fire but the pulley should if you fabricate the bracket.
