Chevy heads
I read that head casting #14102190 is a poor design head for performance and the problem begins around the 4200 - 4500 RPM mark with it being a "swirl" head. Here is my situation, I received a rebuilt marine engine (350cid 260 HP) with these heads. Do you think any problems will arise? I'm running a carter 4bbl (stock Mercruiser intake/carb) and dont really run the motors over 4000 RPM's.
Thanks for any input, Paul
