My smallblock chevy motor has a (extra) heater hose going to (THE BACK OF THE INTAKE)

what intake do you have. my bb caddy has that hole but it is for a vacumn not the heater. if it is the vacumn you can block it off. I am running a edelbrock intake for the 472.BARB
