dual carbs on chevy "cross-fire injection"

I was wondering how much trouble it would be to "fab up" something, so that my factory L-83 Cross-fire could have DUAL CARBS -- instead of dual t.b.i.

The intake is a 2 peice design. The bottom and a top. The t.b.i. sit on the top half of the intake.

I plan on swapping out my old "turbo heads" for the crossfire L83 heads 1st before I get started.

How hard would this be, besides the linkage? I belive I could make my own upper plate to hold the carbs on?

    Any ideas?

I don't see it would be any problem at all. But to tell ya the truth I'd just as soon have the throttle bodies on that set up.

No matter what you do with that cross fire manifold--the ports are only about half the size of the head ports and trying to do anything with it is total waste of time--

If you want to do carb go to carb manifold---

You would be better off just getting a 2x4 intake
