i dont know what a proform carb is but iv`e sung the praises of a straight out of the box 750 holley many times .. are you driving this on the street ? ..tech should give you some HP #$ soon .. run what`s in the carb and tune later as you read plugs and see how it performs
iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

Back in my youth (early days of the internal combustion hot rod) I would take the car out & run it up to 7g or so, if it didn't hit on all 8 all the way there, I would go back to the garage & drop in the next size bigger jets. Repeated the process until it sounded right. Lookin' back that could have been a receipt for burned pistons but it worked at the time.

I'd go the other way when the plugs looked black.

I wonder if my motor will actually make some decent numbers with my combo.

I would start out with 72's in the primaries and 82's in the secondaries and tune from there.
