What jets should i run? proform 750.
Well im just at the end of building my motor and i just acquired a proform carburetor no choke vacuum advanced. Was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what jets to use. Here is my build
forged scat crank (3.48)
forged scat rods (5.7)
4 valve relief pistons, i think its -5 cc? quote me if im wrong.
felpro head gaskets 1003

Anyone with windyno or what ever you use, can you see what hp this makes? i have no clue at all what it will make lol. And help me with my accelerator pump jets and all that selection i am a noob at tuning carb. Thanks for your time.

i dont know what a proform carb is but iv`e sung the praises of a straight out of the box 750 holley many times .. are you driving this on the street ? ..tech should give you some HP #$ soon .. run what`s in the carb and tune later as you read plugs and see how it performsiv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?

Back in my youth (early days of the internal combustion hot rod) I would take the car out & run it up to 7g or so, if it didn't hit on all 8 all the way there, I would go back to the garage & drop in the next size bigger jets. Repeated the process until it sounded right. Lookin' back that could have been a receipt for burned pistons but it worked at the time.

I would start out with 72's in the primaries and 82's in the secondaries and tune from there.

i slapped in 70's/78's for my cam break in, After that i will fart around with tuning it proper, and looking at sparkplugs.
