I'll call Competition in the next couple of days about the Scats.
You know I starting thinking about revising the head/cam combo for more hp because 700R4 don't like towing in O/D.So if driving threw the PA hills, the engine would see a kick down from 3th.Well maybe it would.
So I go back to looking for maybe a 180cc intake runner head that I could cut back to a 67cc size.A little more top end and HP,but nothing beyond 5,000 rpm.Got any suggestions for like 50 more HP??.Good Bye

Charlie-I swear to god I have looked everywhere in Roch,NY and I can't find them.I guess I could buy them on line.Seems everyone here has Damp Rid in a container.
Pat-I questioned Jim and he said he has it covered as far as oiling it.I then bagged it in heavy mil plastic bag only poking the back of the bag with the engine stand bolts.Jim wanted me to store it in my living rm because the shop isn't heated all the time.Yeah-that isn't happening.
The crank checked out ok with some minor polishing.I have been dealing with some issues with my D.D'er and hope to have that wrapped up this week.So next is the rods and bearings.I wanted a parts cleaner for assemble too.So I have one lined up to buy tomorrow and want a "clean" new table top one also.Good Bye
