phenolic spacer
Just got this spacer to try and reduce the heat transfer to the carb. I can tell the top of the spacer needs a gasket such as the one next to the spacer. what of the gasket between the spacer and the manifold? Should it be the same with the 4 holes or should it be an open style or one with a piece down the center to match the manifold? I have an edelbrock performer manifold.
Thanks,
Paul

Not to disagree with Pat - but I'd use two gaskets total - one on each side of the phenolic block."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

I tried rubber isolators between the frame and pump, but it made little difference. I don't mind spinning the motor over to refill the carb(s), it allows time to build oil pressure, jmho..
