When you replaced the motor did you make any changes to the computer controlled oxygen sensors? if the cars onboard is sensing an improper air/fuel mixture it could be sending improper signals and having poor run out at idle or maybe the computer controller chip for the stock carb is giving a mis read with the new engine?? im only going out and assuming it was originally equipped with the computer controlled type 4bblR.I.P.
