Nitrous is not a good idea for a pleasure boat. Nitrous increases Hp and also RPM's, on a boat, you do not need Hp's but high RPM's so, just get your engine capable of cranking 7-8000 RPM's and you should go pretty fast, there is really no need for NOS on a boat, I don't even know if it's legal. Also, to get a good sound, if you havent arleady, put some liquid cooled headders on it, thele increase power also but, that's not inportant. To answer your initial question, yes I do belive so but, it needs tinkering before it is installed ( so the motor dosent blow up ), as I said, yes it's possible for a ZZ4 but, I do not recomend it for a boat.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
