Small block head, valve measurements.
I recently came in to a set of 350/400 heads casting number 333882. I know the valves are 1.94/1.50 but I was wonder is there a way to figure out the length of the valves stems length and width, I don't have a caliper at the moment to get an accurate measurement, is there a way to tell by the casting number more info on the valves then just what I have?

Any written information you may find could be bogus. You have no idea what has been done to those heads in the last 40 years by previous owners. Go to ebay and bid 80 bucks on any used Brown & Sharp, Starrett or Mitutoyo 6" dial caliper.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
